According to family tradition, the origin of Casa da Bica will be in a convent that would have existed between 1550 and 1650.
Located in the city of Seia, the Quinta da Bica house is entered by an imposing portal and high wall that imposes itself on the landscape. After the gate, you enter the yard that gives access to the house, formed by a 17th century manor house that underwent major renovation works at the interior level in this century, while maintaining its primitive design. In the surroundings of the house there is a beautiful stone fountain that gives the name to the House - this whole set contains a large agricultural property that has been lost since the time, at least until the 17th century.
